Just as I was starting to enjoy the warmer weather it has all changed. At time like this when I look across to the snow covered mountains I am so glad I am not a farmer, the lambs must be arriving soon.
Dressing to keep warm is the topic of this post. The MADCAT skirts are best teamed with black merino wool footless tights and matching coloured opossum merino socks and boots. I have discovered some great black and cream stripe merino wool socks in Farmers too. The special quality of the fabric I have used in all of these skirts on line is that apart from stretching for comfort they do not stick to your tights or ride up.
On days when I start early at the Nelson Saturday market I kept warm this week by wearing the beige and white stripe soft MADCAT top* , the black and grey stripe sleeve merino wool jumper( available on line ) and felted wool top with black and white stripe piping*. Together with tights, socks, boots and a MADCAT skirt.
*Only available from the market or my boutique at present.
