PANSY design skirt $153
This pansy was growing all winter on Jill’s window ledge at home. She has made pencil drawings of the flowers and put them into a textile. She has enlarged all the drawings so the flower faces are larger than life and all exploratory marks are visible. These marks are essential as she builds up the image of each flower head.
Jill has fond memories of her mother embroidering cushions with pansy flower heads when she was a child. She recalls tracing the flower shapes with her fingers when she was sick and allowed to sleep on the settee as a treat.
The purple coloured fabric and light pink fabric is cotton and lycra
The beige fabric is our usual 75%viscose, 21%nylon and 4%lycra.
All the fabrics are easy to hand wash but be aware the purple and light pink cotton and lycra fabric will crease, which may be a problem if you are travelling and sitting for hours a a time.

I saw your designs at the cake & craft show today, you have so many beautiful designs but the sea foam pansy one, just leapt out at me. I wish I had that colour pansy growing in my garden. A close second would be the rose skirt they bring out the gardener in me and the material seems to be very hard wearing. You are one very talented lady
